Mud and Fire Exhibition and Opening Event

Mud and Fire Exhibition and Opening Event

Mud and Fire – a joint exhibition from Napier and Taradale Pottery Clubs.

There is a very active pottery scene in Hawke’s Bay and the two main clubs – Napier Pottery and Taradale Pottery have combined their talents to hold a joint exhibition of their members work.

This will be a thrilling celebration of clay art in Hawke’s Bay with some very special pieces being shown. The exhibition will be made up of a wide range of work from new members just starting out, to some of our clay professionals who have been working with clay for many years. The Taradale Pottery Club has just fired up their massive wood kiln for the first time in three years and we will be showing many spectacular pieces that have come straight out of the kiln!

If you are interested in clay art then come along and see this exciting display of work. With lots for sale, you could get in some early Christmas shopping and take some special pieces home with you!

‘Mud and Fire’ opens on Friday 8 November, 5-7pm. Come celebrate with the members, all welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
