Speed Date a Candidate

Speed Date a Candidate

Take this opportunity to Speed Date a Candidate for the upcoming local body elections.

We're delighted to have this event opened by Garth McVicar and that so many local candidates have already confirmed their attendance such as; Tania Wright, Gary Wise, Catherine Hawkins, Jake Brookie, Graeme Taylor, Nigel Simpson, Keith Price, Hayley Browne, Matthew Bonnett, James Crow, Craig Morely, Annette Brosnan, Richard McGrath, and Steve Gibson and Chris Tremain (both standing for the Mayoralty. We also have an HBRC hopeful, Nichola Nicholson as well joining the event.

After a rapid fire one minute self delivered introduction, each nominee will take the hot seat at intimate tables to answer the questions you've asked.

Napier have moved to a full Ward system so this is your chance to really get to know who wants to represent you and find out about those from other Wards as well.

Questions will be accepted in advance, please contact the facilitator on if you have a burning question you'd like answered - some random questions from the floor will be tendered too, to keep our nominees on their toes.

Looking forward to seeing you there - please ensure to register for this event so that adequate seating and table layouts are made.
