Digital Technologies: Teachers Workshop

Digital Technologies: Teachers Workshop

Digital Technologies: Free Teachers Workshop - Led by Te Papa.

Our workshops have a focus on filling your own kete of digital tools that you can take back to your school and implement immediately. It will support kaiako to assess and strengthen understandings of the new digital technologies and hangarau matihiko curricula content within the classroom.

We will clarify misconceptions around the Hangarau and Technology curriculum areas, and how you can use these in the classroom to enhance what you are already teaching, rather than thinking of it as something else you have to teach.

Learning Outcomes for this workshop include:
- Build understandings of the revised Technology and Hangaru curricula content
- Explore a range of digital technologies, computational thinking concepts and how these can be used to enhance your existing class curriculum
- Strengthen understandings of how to weave the learning through the classroom curriculum rather than be a separate subject
