Pork Pie Movie Night

Pork Pie Movie Night

This fundraiser is to help send our five Hawkes Bay teens to the USA in January 2020 for a Junior Theatre Celebration. These teens have been selected through auditions at the end of last year in Auckland as part of a nationwide celebration of musical theatre. They will travel to New York where they will be involved in workshops and Broadway productions and then on to Atlanta for the Junior Theatre Celebration involving 6500 participants where they have the opportunity to perform as well as experience world class productions. Our five teens are all passionate about musical theatre and are all involved in the Napier Operatic Society. We would really appreciate your support.

Pork Pie is a 2017 comedy road movie written and directed by New Zealander Matt Murphy and produced by Tom Hern. The film is a remake of 1981 movie Goodbye Pork Pie, the first New Zealand film to win a substantial local audience. The remake stars Dean O'Gorman, James Rolleston and Ashleigh Cummings as a trio of accidental outlaws who travel the length of New Zealand in a stolen orange New Mini.

Ticket price includes a complimentary glass of wine or non alcoholic beverage and nibbles.
