1 brewery/ciderhouse for drinks, 3 wineries for tastings and a tour of a working winery and underground cellars set inside old fermentation tanks 

This very popular tour is unique in that it includes the beer and cider drinkers amongst us. You visit a brewery/cider house on the day. Here you are able to sit and relax at this brewery/cider house that is tastefully set in an orchard amongst fruit trees. As part of the tour, you can choose from a long list of beers and ciders, also a couple of very nice 'splits'. In fact, 3 drinks each. Or, have a lovely non-alcoholic ginger beer, coffee or a cup of tea for the non drinkers, or for those that have just had enough

This tour option is designed for those that may have experienced a wine tour in other parts of the world previously and also anyone who just wants a fantastic Wine Experience. This tour has been setup to provide many segments to embrace your Napier Wine Sensory Experience while enhancing your Napier experience overall.
Collected from your Napier accommodation you are given an insight into the 1931 earthquake and Napier’s re-building in Art Deco. Enjoy an overview of Napier, world famous Art Deco National Tobacco building and magnificent city lookouts

After arriving at the Church Road winery, you will be given a glass then with glass in hand, sample wine directly from the cellars whilst gaining a technical insight into the crafting of Church Road wines. Your tour concludes with a tasting of four wines from our McDonald Series and Grand Reserve range where each specially selected wine will be accompanied with a bite-sized food offering, providing an insight into wine and food matching

You will then enjoy lunch from the seasonal à la carte menu and try our food and wine recommendation

Lunch includes shared breads, main course, Chef’s choice of shared side, tea or espresso coffee, glass of wine as per menu match (as above)

City overview sightseeing tour including history, the rebuilding of the city in Art Deco style, and the changes resulting in today's Napier. We will also visit a winery for the purpose of wine tasting different varieties of local wine

This is a 3 hour tour ideally suited for the traveller that wants to cover the main feel of the local area and does not have the time for 2 separate tours

You will tour the city, look out over Napier from the top of Napier Hill. See the surviving houses from that disastrous earthquake of 1931

We will drive to the historic parts of Napier, visit the world famous National Tobacco Building and others

The Winery would be either the Mission Estate winery, or another top boutique winery for wine tasting

The tour will be completed back in Napier after driving through an Art Deco housing estate

Start at a Ciderhouse followed by 2 world class wineries, a working winery tour and finish at an Alehouse
